Well, I'm very disappointed with myself, I didn't blog the 1st year anniversary of my silica gel in water. If I had though, it would have been the last day in May, that's kinda funky I guess. Anyway. Oh yea, I now have a new category, 'Silica Gel'. Since preety much all my posts will contain a silica gel update, I will have to decide what counts as a silica gel post and what doesn't.
Year 1, day 12
The silica gel is as it always is, the dusty/crusty layer seems more prominent, more mould is growing. I'm not talking about large amounts of mould by the way, we're talking about 20 or so 1mm by 1mm dots just floating about the surface. The water level has not changed. I will keep you posted.
